As always a very enjoyable read. FYI you would want to pitch a batter with the arm that is on his side of the plate. The advantage, as slim as it might be, is lefty against left handed hitter and righty against righty. Curveballs are especially deceptive that start out in the vicinity of the batters back and curve over the inside corner.

Nice read, but the story ended before we really got to find out where it's heading. Please post a second
chapter so we can find out.

Good as usual so far, I would like to know more about where the story is heading though.

The necklace’s sudden appearance seemed odd when Evan and crew spotted it in a photo. Where did it come from, what did it mean to Raf, why does he wear it?
The length seemed good for an opening chapter. Details seemed good for everything except Raf’s connection to Shifters, Jinn, and the significance of the necklace.

It's taken me a few days to get to this, and I am pleasantly surprised, not that I should be. Been a fan of Fel for years, and he has never disappointed. I'm beginning to wish he had a couple of clones, so he could keep two or three stories going simultaneously. Then again, maybe I need to be careful what i wish for.

As feedback, you might want to trim the info about his home a bit. Not much as it seems to flesh him out a bit but it got a little repetitive. His plans as to football (soccer) also.
