Short Story: Insurrection, Chapter 1.

This isn't where I wanted to stop it, but it's good enough for now.
The reasoning is rather simple: I promised you guys I'd work on it, but unfortunately, I couldn't do any work on it at all in Maine. My sister only has a laptop, and she uses it for work. I never really had a chance during my quiet time without her children there, because that was her quiet time too, and she was using it.
So, this is what I managed to get done before I left. It's at a reasonable enough stopping point that there won't be any of those evil cliffhangers you guys hate so much.
But I'll have to put an extra-evil cliffhanger in here somewhere, just so you guys don't think I'm getting soft.

Not me! After a 33 hour flight home, I am on vacation at Disneyland.
Nothing like a nice relaxing chapter (of FEL) after a full day of dancing mice and screaming dolls.

I was just thinking the other day .......it just wasn't going to feel like Christmas after all these years with out
