Yes, I'm working very hard on chapter 18 as we speak, so the cliffhanger evilness of 17 won't be long.  Everything will be explained, and all those very quiet people that usually post but haven't since I released 17 can stop their preparations to find my address, drive down here, then stab me in the eyes with a rusty spoon.

I have to work tomorrow and Saturday.  I'm up to page 11, but I have raids tonight on EQ, so i don't think I'm going to finish tonight.  I expect to be done with 18, and this book, sometime Friday or Saturday, depending.

Just trust me.  Everything gets explained.  ;)

Yes, I am one of the quiet ones, but my Spoon is not rusty!  I keep it in good condition.
