From what I read, for now they need to have had a previous scan of your brain to have an idea of what a particular thought could be. But anyway I am sure that they are still a long way from developing a machine that can actually read thoughts and that being the case, I see no need to cross the bridge before I can get to it and in any case, from development to deployment is usually a very long journey.

Incidentally I just read your site about the brights....interesting though I find it amusing that for someone with a naturalistic world view, Fel's works interest you. Afterall he deities in both books though there are far more in the sennadar world than the occasional mention of trelle and others in subjugation.

I like to read fantasy novels, they are just that: fantasy and I don't see them as a threat to my viewpoint. I can seperate fantasy from reality. Some Christians apparently have difficulty with that and get in a big fuss about things like Harry Potter. it's fantasy, it's not meant to represent reality.

I'm sure you don't believe in all the Gods that are in Fel's works either, doesn't stop you from reading them does it?
