Hi all,

I´m currently away -- off overseas travelling around for a while.

If you´ve got a problem or issue you need sorted, please post in the forums, as I probably won´t be able to answer you for a fair while.

Most of the time I´ll be limited to net-cafes or using the crippled web-browser on my PDA

I'm back...

There's a few things I need to fix, which I'll try and get done soon.

Effective immediately - new accounts need to be approved by me. This is an intermediate effort to eliminate spam bots signing up (despite the CAPTCHA tests). This won't affect users wanting to download the chapters or read the forums.

Things I'd like to do to the forums:

1) Upgrade to 2.0.21 (from 2.0.19) (required, urgent)

2) Update / Modify the way PHPbb generates the CAPTCHA image, to make it more difficult for spam bots to sign up accounts (important, but not urgent)

3) Add a filter for when users create a new thread/post to detect if spam words, or multiple URLs are present - prevent the posting for new/zero-post users.

I'm away again for a few days. Back some time after 1st Jan.
