wireframe, or a sturdy metal frame? Wireframe to me brings to mind very thin metal. I would more or less see it as if someone had cast the medallion from a mold, with thicker metal and the center piece a little bit deeper than the outer triangles since it can hold a gem.
Speaking of which, what type of gem would be in it? Diamond or another white gem I'm assuming? Maybe for the council a gem the color of their seat?

Fel wrote:The Shaeram on the site is more or less correct, but Tarrin's amulet isn't solid...the triangles aren't filled, and it has no color. It is all black metal, including the chain, which has largish links and looks very sturdy. The only thing filled in an amulet is the concave center star, which usually holds a tiny gem in the center (though Tarrin's amulet does not). A Weavespinner's amulet has the tines extending out from the sides of the concave star at angles, then turning up and down (depending on where it came out) to join to the triangles. The tines are symmetrical; the inner 2 attach to the corner between the top/bottom triangle and its neighbor, and the outer 2 attach to the exact center of the next triangle over, in symmetry both horizontally and vertically.
