Book 1 - Inu Question.

Wasn't Allia's inu named Talon in either book 4 or Book 5 when Sayyara, Tarin, Allia all went to the desert? Yet at the beginning of Axe Chapter 1, Tarrin is going to go help Alllia with her pet inu named Kedaira (loyal). When did the name change occur?
