Oh ya Fel awesome chapter..

Hmm... I see that a lot of speculations about Tarrin's powers in Crossroads wend down the sink. But I wonder what other two powers he granted himself while creating new body (besides wings of living fire and their ability to fly magically).

Eron, as a Werecat, should have at least a tiny bit of Druidic abilities, maybe not to cast a spell but perhaps to detect magic users and/or type of magic. I wonder how he hides from Sorcery, and who told him to do it... the Goddes?

You also have to remeber how did he hide from the Bond with Mist, I'd assume she wouldn't set him lose without at least still keeping part of the bond...

Niami gave Eron a shaeram that protects him by keeping Sorcery from being able to find him remember? it's just like tarrins

I do have to say I can see Niami's hand in Eron's hiding.
if  Eron doesn't have any Sorcery in him it's kinda strange but when his was a boy he did talk to Niami a lot in his dreams. I would assume she or Spyder is helping him to remain hidden maybe by helping him move around?.  

But what is he doing? besides waiting for his father......Training?  

Eron as a werecat does have Druidic magic ...but that doesn't mean he can use Druidic abilities like his father.

One other thought does Tarrin still retain his ability's as a MiShara while he is in the Crossroads?

You also have to remember how did he hide from the Bond with Mist, I'd assume she wouldn't set him lose without at least still keeping part of the bond...

I think mist released the bond once he reached Adulthood...

Besides Jula has been magically enhanced to detect the faint echo of her fathers bond.  

The one thing that struck me as funny was the play between The Deva and Naimi.

Naimi's promise to stay out of it is really funny...
She knows...she is restricted in the Crossroads because of how powerful she is as a Prime God.... But as her priest Tarrin can call upon her full power to assist him <G> while he is there....with no restrictions other then the one Law. ...
I wonder if a Deva can truly withstand the power of a Prime God ?

But then we also see the plot's with in plots ...a Solar working in Tarrins interest ? ... Hummmm I wonder what Task they want him to perform...just like the Elder Gods of Sennadar...  

Or does being a child of the Firestaff Grant him certain privileges/favors or powers we and he don't know or understand yet?.

This was worth the wait.  I can't wait to see what happens with Eron.

Just one question, because I'm too lazy to go back through the past books to count years---just how old is Janette by now? For some reason I was thinking she'd be a bit older than Zyri, not nearly the same age.

But still, awesome chapter. I can just imagine what kind of chaos that "no violence" rule is going to cause for everybody.

Awesom chapter:) I agree the play between Niami, the Deva and the Solar was very interesting.

Cant wait for more, as I really like the description of the upper planes.

I think Fel once said that the Firestaff is some type of "test" from the one god, If so maybe it's to test the Prime gods as much as The person whom uses it....

Great chapter.... lots happening with multiple plotlines to develop, and not much re-hash of old information.

I don't think the Solar is particularly working on Tarrin's side.. it could be merely that Tarrin is in the right place to be of help to his cause.. could the God of gods be aware of and watching Tarrin closely? ...

... maybe this creator-god is concerned, that a demon-god/demon-lord might be able to take hold in Pyrosia.... Is Pyrosia one of the 'prime' worlds, and by extension potentially as powerful as sennadar, had the Pyrosian elder god not gone away.

Doubtful, as if a Creator Prime God tried to "jump ship" they probably would have gotten a stern beatdown by a few dozen Solars.
