One thing that surprises me in this chapter, Rann is sensitive in the Parri way bit isn't being trained. I would have thought that fairly important. Jason has said several times that he wants Rann to take over from him as soon as that is practicable and I would have thought that having him be Parri-trained would make that much more likely.

The shaman will train him when he's older. She considers him too young.

So are we going to see Faey imperial fleet and karinne fleets deployed in the war?

Also if they are going to be providing so many heavy metals they should get more than food but should instead trade in technology to improve house karinne technology.

Also Karinnes need to visit the fourth faey offshoot and study them closely and either integrate them or make them a protectorate
