Just wondering what happened to the forum. It went down for a while, but the YaBB homepage didn't say anything. Did something collapse on Spec8472's end?

AFAIK there havn't been any problems with the server, or the DNS records...

It was from maybe a few hours before i wrote that, all the way to the day before. It must have been down for 12-20 hours or something like that. There's no signs of it?

I've had trouble with my 'net access recently (side effects of trying to get ISDN), so I havn't been able to keep an eye on the server all that closely...

I'll drop an email to the guy who owns/runs it, and see if he knows anything... I'll keep you posted.

Ok, it's not a problem right now, but it might happend again sometime in the future, so it's best to be prepeared for it. That way something might be done to prevent it.

Turns out the RAID array holding the data for all the sites lost a drive...

I see. Well, that explains that, ne? At least my curiosity is satisfiesd now.
