With a battle looming for karis, I remembered that at some point Cybi and Jason had a discussion about building/growing another biogenic computer that would replace the one that was destroyed as Cybi was originally a disaster recovery center and not the main computer. In fact I remember there even plans to build another one on Kosigi. In fact there was even mention of a ship based one I think...

Did those plans ever mature?

I can imagine what a difference it would make in the battle if you had a generation communing with another cybi somewhere on planet as well as yet another one on Kosigi.

Sure on that? Because I didn't find after taking a few minutes to skim post chapter analysis postings... nor in the chapter posting announcement posts.

IIRC, it was going to take a year to grow the parts needed (in the Shimmer Dome), and I don't think that a years worth of time has passed on Karis yet.
