The Avengers (no spoilers)

If you're looking for a movie which has a lot of laughs, is really well written, acted to perfection, and has some smokin' hot women who can kick ass... Go see The Avengers.
Joss Whedon's brought all these characters together brilliantly, and even The New New Hulk Mark Ruffalo works fantastically here.
I'd suggest seeing it earlier in the day, ideally with room for a second viewing, just so you can comprehend the sheer awesomeness.
TL;DR: Go see the Avengers. Now.

I fully intend to go see this movie, but I'll have to see when it opens here in America.
I had high hopes for it. It sounds like I won't be disappointed.
Heck, the teaser they showed on TV sealed the deal for me:
Bad Guy: "I have an army."
Tony Stark: "I have a Hulk."
EPIC WIN.

Also going to see it when i get the chance.
My favorite quote from the trailers so far is
Tony Stark: No offence, but I don't play well with others.
Steve Rogers: Big man, in a suit of armour... take that away, what are you?
Tony Stark: Uh... genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist...
He's character is so humble.

Wait, it's not out in the US yet? It's usually the other way around.
On the other hand: Cabin In The Woods is out in the US (and has been since the 9th of April iirc). It won't be released in Australia until the 12th of July. And they wonder why piracy rates are so high.
That's another Joss Whedon film I'm looking forward to.
Quote from The Cabin In The Woods trailer:
Chris Helmsworth (who plays Thor in, er, Thor/Avengers): We should stick together.
(vent opens, gas released)
Chris: No, that's not right... lets split up.
Fran Kranz (who plays Topher in Dollhouse): ...Seriously?

Yes, I'm very much looking forward to it myself...!

I've been waiting ever since it was first hinted at in the first Iron Man movie. It really is too bad that DC can't get their act together to produce a live action Justice League film. Heck, I'd settle for a live action fight scene between Superman and Darkseid. I'm not impressed by bullets bouncing of Superman's eyeball; I wanna see some terrain get leveled in a super brawl..!

I really loved the scene where...
Thor and the Hulk were just standing there after defeating a bunch of aliens, and then just as you think Thor was going to say something, Hulk just hits him and sends him flying, without even looking his way. Hilarious..!

oh, yeah - on the 3D vs non-3D thing... The 3D is only used to add depth of field in this movie. It's not like many movies where stuff is constantly flying out of the screen.

omg yeah.
At first the entire theatre didn't process it, then there was this utter explosion of laughter.
It was worth the $8.75USD just for that scene.
