That's right, boys and girls, the next chapter of Sword of Fire, chapter 11, is finished.

As per my usual custom, I just logged onto IRC and sent it to about 7 people hanging out on #sennadar.  One of them will come along behind me in a while and post up a link to the chapter.

Amazing, great.. and the last part is making me a little sad.  I don't know what to think, it sounds like Tarrin is going to kill himself or something after everything was settled.  It's probably nothing as bad as that, but just as sad.  I can't decide which story that I want to read more, Subjugation, or Firestaff...  Both are at a very exciting part.

I love the stories so far, keep it up.

I DISAGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS POST. I DON'T THINK TARRIN IS CONTEMPLATING HIS OWN DESTRUCTION. SELF EXILE PERHAPS. BUT I CAN'T SEE NIAMI OR ANY NUMBER OF OTHERS ALLOWING THAT EITHER. SO ONCE AGAIN I AM EXCITED TO SEE WHERE FEL TAKES TARRIN AND US ALL IN THIS.

THE ELDER GODS BETTER WATCH OUT OR THERE WILL BE ALL KINDS OF "MOTHERS" RUNNING AROUND WITH WOODEN SPOONS AND OTHER HOLY AND UNHOLY WEAPONS....

Well, Tarrin has to survive for another book (Demon's Bane, from http://www.sennadar.com), so I don't think anything nasty will happen. ;D Though that might be where he exiles himself to. Tarrin Demon Hunter. Goes to their home plane, and permanently kills demons or is that too D&D?

Christmas in June? Perhaps not, but nonetheless a great gift. Thanks Fel...

Dear God i love this story. there is a lot of things in this one chapter that are wonderful i won't go in to them not wanting to spoil anything but thank you so much for all you do. all i can say is that i think Mist is by far the one mate i love the most the love and devotion she has for him. damn where can a real guy get someone like that. anyway don'y worry about how long it takes we love every chapter you give us

When you are faced with the fact that you are the biggest danger to those you love, you leave.  They might try to stop you, they will probably even come after you.  All you can do is say that it has to be and walk away.  They will be depressed, they will cry, they will curse the gods.  But they cannot argue with you when they know the reasons why.

It hurts like hell when you have to do that.  And the pain is not that easily overcome.  The best you can do is to work through it, and to better the lives of those around you.

That is the decision that Tarrin made.

no, I don't think so.  She loves him.  Adores him even.  She would do ANYTHING for him... but she wouldn't ever WORSHIP him.  Her love is a romantic love, not a religious love.  Just my thoughts.

That was my thought as well.  Mist started out madly in love with Tarrin, before he got his divine powers.  Zyri never knew any difference, and she sees him as a much more benevolent god.

Hmm, that makes me wonder.  If Tarrin does stay on Pyrosia, since he wouldn't have any family or what not to hold him back you then he'd finally accept his godhood and ascend and become something like an Elder in Pyrosia after he blows away the One?

Um, Isn't that exactly the type of Love Tarrin has for Niami? Also why would Fel go into details of how Mist's soul is connected to him if she wasn't a "worshipper"? Maybe not in the "classical" worshipper sense but she is.

Oh goodness, I hope not.  Having a romantic love for someone you call "mother" is kind of creepy...
