"Technical" difficulties abound.

I've finished fox3, but...heh, I sorta don't have my laptop.

My mother came to visit, and she took my laptop home with her "by accident" and left hers.

Now, I have an Asus EEE and Mom has a 17" Dell...HOW COULD SHE CONFUSE THEM?

Needless to say, both laptops are currently in the mail. When I get my EEE back, I'll post chapter 3.

Reminds me of the time I went on a business trip and "brought my laptop to do some writing." Problem is, my wife's laptop looks exactly like mine. Paranoid me double and triple and quadruple checked which one I was taking. And then checked again.

Can't be too careful. If my wife was without her laptop for longer than a day or two...that wouldn't be a good thing.

Hah.... there is not such a thing I have already check, you have to make sure. Wife ever said, what if I took the wrong husband home... in the dark of the night, she can hardly see and size would not make a difference when you are horizontal.... I take that to heart.

Anyway Fel, make sure the mail system is working, you can put a GPS tracker locater on your asus EEE.... its very precious to us. I can bet Phantom is now stopping every mail truck. :)

Would have done the same if I understand the mail system. Where I come from, nobody hardly use the snail mail as things almost go private or local delivery service. Heck, you can go end to end across the country in 1 hour although personally I have done it in 40 minutes breaking the speed laws. Just imagine a speed law where 30 mph is the rule and 50mph is on the highways. You just have to risk the $200 fine.

No not every truck .....

But i did Cringe at the thought of it getting mailed

In High school my best friends Father drove a Semi nightly for the US Mail

He took all the Mail from our town (Emporia Ks) and then drove all night
Stoping in Topeka to drop off and pick up more and then went to Kansas City to do the same
then he'd reversed the route ending up back in Emporia by dawn each day ....

We used to sometime's help him load the truck  .......
I'm suprised any of the packages ever survived the trip after that loading.

I learned there are some words you NEVER write on the outside of a package and expect it to survive the trip

So i'm very worried about a lap top being mailed

We acknowledge it is not good... especially us readers. On tenterhooks..

My brains has been on overdrive, wishing for the best... but worried about the worst... Fel getting angry when the laptop did not arrive, no Chapter 3, he decides to throw tantrums and not write for a while ... getting a new comp.... My prayers goes with Fel.
