Well, it seems obvious that about a third or more of you folks like to download single chapters -- at this time anyway. So I took a few minutes and went back on the other chapter postings I'd already made and posted each single chapter. That way it will at least appear that I was consistent in my postings from day one.

Tor's a bit touchy, considering he just pulled a joke on his father and Wally. Not nearly as long or as elaborate, but still...

I am not sure if all four were in on the joke, or if it's Björn and Kai with Rick, and Jax is being an asshole.
For that matter, I am not sure what the joke is...

I also have a yahoo group and sometimes get messages there that are worthy of comment and sometimes worth passing on. I'm going to try to do that here -- crosses fingers. But of course I'm going to make it a touch hard for you.

It should since it was a cut and paste and all I did was correct a dumb error or two from my original submission. Now you realize of course I'm going to have to work a few more of those facts into the story, don't you. Come to think of it, most of them have already been mentioned if you read things closely enough. The only thing that I haven't done is to point out the obvious assumptions that come in relation to the facts that have been mentioned.
For instance, Miners and Farmers work around noisy equipment and suffer hearing damage. Because they don't hear as well, they talk louder. Their families react to that in one of two ways - becoming louder or becoming quieter. Since Tor's older siblings were players in boisterous sports, they became louder. Olga had to become louder as well, just to be heard in her own kitchen.
I suppose I've been expecting people to 'read between the lines' more than I should.
