I think you may have laid on the 'ozstrainian' a little too thickly in places.

The story also ends here:

“Right, mate” came the reply as Matty got up, and started towards the barn with the bike. s the barn with the bike.

Is there some missing?

We'll try to tone it down a bit. It actually is how some folks in the outback speak though. Be glad, one of the ideas we had was to set it in the north of England. Then it would have been ferrets and racing pigeons, and a broad Geordie accent. Even I can't understand them, even though I enjoy Andy Capp cartoons.
