Could it be "The Chronicles of Rapina"?

Nutzzz- my memory has fizzled again - have a real bad cold (or maybe the flu?) and wanted to read a story - a particular story - a guy is working in a hospital admin office and makes a bet with a very vocal twit that he went to school with a famous female singer - they go to see her when she is having a photo op or something and the tale develops from there ...
Anyone have any ideas of the title or author - or even where it was posted??

Hey everyone, looking for a web novel, the premise was a guy gets kidnapped by aliens and they changed his form, to an animal maybe a lion and he somehow becomes a ruler over these people. In the end they all find out their universe is actually a ship that is traveling across the cosmos and they are all miniaturized. The books over aching premise is gaining control of this ships controls and deciding on their universe directions.

Sounds like William D. Arand's series

Definitely not William D. Arand. The only thing similar the Arand is they are in a spaceship. However, they are in an online simulation, not miniaturized in Arand's books. And the rest on the description doesn't match at all.

"Honkytonk Hero" by Joe J on SOL. I recently re-read the story. I enjoyed it.
