No, I don't usually drink alcohol. However, I am a coffee addict to the tune of a pot or two a day. When brown bean juice is unavailble or in short supply, the symptoms are known to the medical profession as insufficientitus coffee caffienitus.J-Man5 wrote:Nah thats just the beginnings of Alcohol poisoning....Halcyon wrote:Uhhhh....the room is spinning... or is it some gravitational force at work?

J-Man5Usually cured by the first cuppa of the morning. Thought processes become dull with rambling diatribes similar to slight drunkeness. Physically sluggish, etc.
OTOH, caffiene overdose is unpleasant. Symptoms are shaking and nervousness. (really!) Let me think .... it has been about 25 years ago since I had a really bad experience with coffee. I was sick one day and didn't eat supper. Was able to sleep only an hour or so. Skipped breakfast the next morning. Drank 20 or so cups of coffee at work that morning to keep going. I was shaking so badly that I could barely type the program I was writing. Nervous as hell. If someone had said "boo" behind me I would have jumped straight through the ceiling. Finally, around lunch time, I gave up. Went down to the cafeteria and had lunch. Things settled down after that and I never repeated the mistake.
Interesting factoid....Were_Fan wrote:Edit: PS - Caffiene jitters is one reason the US military doesn't use caffiene for a stimulant.
