So, it's actually pretty interesting to see the difference between the characters not being able to piece things together because they are living their lives, and what we as the readers see, because of economy of words only allows for so many feints and fakeouts because we have to be shown what's happening to some level.

Obviously at this point, it's the Faey Medical Service that is the cause, and it's because you know they had pre/post Generation data for Dahni and worked out how to engineer in general that change across all the Faey. Interesting that the metaphorical dragon's attack started to be pushed along because of Jason's own action of going to Earth to personally see the Farm Bureau get set right and getting the virus exposed to the super-ebola that had massive evolution features. And even without that, it's very likely it would have made it to Earth anyways in the 45 day windows of Faey visits, but would it have picked up that level of change anyways without a Generation that has been healed of the Mordon 'kill the Kimdori' poison, or even calling back to whatever Cybi did when they fixed Jason's merge issue with her?
