I have to say, on the site I'm an admin for (http://www.evolutionwriters.com, a site for writers) I'd have started the official warning process on the second offense.

On the other hand, I was admin of many forums and normally I ban post that looks like "advertising" competitor's website.

I also ban those poster who use that *sh** or those other words that deems not suitable for the educational growth purpose of teenagers....what ever *crabs* that is

p.s I still maintain my innocent in starting this post though. As I said earlier, I'm sincerely regret that my using of wrong title had started major heart attacks all over the world. I see no reason what so ever to moderate these forums unless people:
post abusive messages, advertise, spam or break the web hosts TOC. This thread doesn't fall into any of those categorys.

It is also my extremely humble non arrogant opinion that people should not be so up tight ;D

I prefer a hands-off approach to admining a community site. What Greymist wrote (in the entirety of that post, not just the quoted section), pretty much reflects what I feel.

Spec or somebody, can you just remove this whole thread, please?

My response time to the site, unless someone emails me is around the week+ level at the moment, and probably won't get any better for atleast a month.

Crunch time for a project -- next 4-6 weeks are going to be a wipeout.

After that - I'm taking 3-4 weeks holidays, and I'm planning on learning how to use the new toy I have on order.

Thanks, but I got a little out of hand. I didn't have to call him a jackass. However, to put it all in perspective, Hubby and I had been down in the basement playing Diablo and it was getting late and Hubby was getting, uh, "frisky". TMI? Sorry. Regardless, he was at me to come upstairs and, just before I shut down the computer, I saw Riduan's posting of Chapter 13 (though missing that it was Riduan's post). Hubby said, "Uh uh.  You're coming to BED." ... cuz he's frisky, you know? I started to whine HARD, but needless to say gave in.  So I'm upstairs in bed staring at the ceiling wondering what Tarrin's going to do about Dolanna when my mind should DEFINATELY have been elsewhere.  And, next morning, when I got up early (4:30am) to read the chapter before going to work, I found out that it was all bogus.  (STOP LAUGHING, THIS IS NOT FUNNY!)

So I got hit double and was pretty pissed.

But Riduan's apologized twice and I figure he's learned to never, Ever, EVER going to put the word "Chapter" in the subject of one of his postings.
