Allo, my name is Karl and I'm one of the rather old school people around here even if I'm not a post whore, I ocassionally abuse my admin privs.
I was (up until last week) living in New Zealand, but now I'm in London. Planning on holidaying around for awhile (like Oktoberfest later in the week) and then getting work (in my field, IT, if I'm lucky).
Before I left I was reading the Death Gate Cycle which is a seven-part series of fantasy novels written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. I quite liked it and should get around to finishing it at some time. In an airport I bought Da Vinci Code which I also enjoyed, but I am annoyed about the fact it is portrayed as a historically accurate book.
