Re: Looking for some picture downloaders
I have no idea. I haven’t done anything with hat kind of thing since Win95 came out, and very little before then. You'd have to tell me exactly what to write, cause I doubt I’d be able to alter it very successfully.

Re: Looking for some picture downloaders
do any of the softwareslisted in the discussion download photos/images and pages form links mentioned on the page that we are downloading.
eg :- if we goto yahoo.com and try to save the main page. Does the software save the pages to the links given on the main page even if it is an external link and may take the page out of yahoo. ??

Ps : please could anyone suggest a software for a novice who is using XP.

Re: Looking for some picture downloaders
Any mass downloader worth it's weight has an option to limit following links only to subpages (pages deeper in the directory structure than the starting page), and/or limiting downloading via URL, e.g. to specified domains and directories. wget (which is command line utility) has such options. If you prefer GUI, you can use wgetGUI (for Windows), gwget (for GNOME), kget (for KDE). Or altogether different downloader.
