I've had a couple of setbacks, mainly because I'm an even worse carpenter than I first thought. I had to all but completely tear down and rebuild the part of the porch I tried to repair after I realized that I'd built part of it with the wrong dimensions.
As an experienced carpenter, my biggest problem with DIY carpentry is not having the right tools. I own a tool pouch with a half doxen tools and thats it. My employers have the tools.
By experienced carpenter, i mean nearly 10 years of experience but not the actual papers.

As usual, I've had a lot of IRL issues lately. Between those and a spate of recent health problems, I've either not had the time or not had the energy to write.
Just another guy from the shallow end of the gene pool.
