I should have revelation3 done on Sunday.

I have maybe 3 more pages to write, which at my current pace is about 2 days of work.

Well, the EEE claims another fan. Whee.

I'm going to take it to the repair people this time rather than replace it myself. They did a good job on my desktop (though it still has issues from the lightning strike, the MB was damaged and I didn't have that replaced), and maybe they can find out why the EEE is chewing up fans. They have way more experience than me, and maybe it's something they can find that I cannot.

I'll still be writing up until I take it to the shop, which will be just before I go to Maine to see my sister. I'm gonna drop it off literally on the way out to Maine and pick it up as I drive back home. I go right by the Best Buy where I'll have it done. I won't be writing in Maine, I'll be way too busy, and this maximizes my time by having the repairs done when I don't need the laptop.

Writing with the grindy fan just means I have to take about a 10 minute break every hour to let the laptop cool off...which I should be doing anyway.
