Re: Lost & Found
Microsoft's latest update cost me all my book marks. Looking for old story series. it was something like Raptina.
Re: Lost & Found
Could it be "The Chronicles of Rapina"? https://www.asstr.org/~rapina/rapcon.htmlthe_scot wrote: Wed Sep 11, 2019 11:47 pm Microsoft's latest update cost me all my book marks. Looking for old story series. it was something like Raptina.

Re: Lost & Found
Nutzzz- my memory has fizzled again - have a real bad cold (or maybe the flu?) and wanted to read a story - a particular story - a guy is working in a hospital admin office and makes a bet with a very vocal twit that he went to school with a famous female singer - they go to see her when she is having a photo op or something and the tale develops from there ...
Anyone have any ideas of the title or author - or even where it was posted??

Re: Lost & Found
Hey everyone, looking for a web novel, the premise was a guy gets kidnapped by aliens and they changed his form, to an animal maybe a lion and he somehow becomes a ruler over these people. In the end they all find out their universe is actually a ship that is traveling across the cosmos and they are all miniaturized. The books over aching premise is gaining control of this ships controls and deciding on their universe directions.
Re: Lost & Found
Sounds like William D. Arand's series
Re: Lost & Found
Definitely not William D. Arand. The only thing similar the Arand is they are in a spaceship. However, they are in an online simulation, not miniaturized in Arand's books. And the rest on the description doesn't match at all.
"I got stabbed. After 10 days of agony, the sword died."
Re: Lost & Found
Part way sounds like the portal worlds series of https://storiesonline.net/a/Wandering_Lanes but a bit mixed up

I know its on sol but cant remember the name or author but the main character was in the military and got a head wound which made him simple and on the way home from the hospital he gets off of the bus in a small town and makes some friends and finds love
Re: Lost & Found
"Honkytonk Hero" by Joe J on SOL. I recently re-read the story. I enjoyed it.
