In my humble opinion this has got to be one of you best chapters you have ever written. I have read all of your stories to date and there have been many good chapters and even excellent ones. Your style with battles both personal and epic are second to none. Meshing detail with scale, not letting either overwhelm the story is truly one of your great strengths as a writer.

This chapter however showcases your growth in character development beyond all else. From the very beginning of this space opera Jason has had the bedrock of his morals and convictions to guide him but still with the black and white viewpoint of his youth. you have time and again shown us how, when he meets with a situation that causes him to reevaluate his beliefs, he can change yet still remain true to himself and choose his own path. this last chapter truly shows how far, how well, and how great he has become. Your writing, your incite, your growth has made this your best chapter yet.
