Subjugation Epub

Post by Dimwit »

I'm rereading from the beginning the complete saga. Obviously needing a project I decided to gather all the doc files into one doc... then make it an html... then realized I can make it an epub. So... after screwing around far too much I have Unification finished. Uhhhh, right, totally out of order. But anyway, does this interest any one? Can I upload it to some where?

I'm mainly looking for feedback on whether to continue doing these things or if it's a waste of time.

Uhm... why didn't you just get the epub that's up on weavespinner.net? All six books are up there as doc, epub, html, mobi, pdf... although there are a few typos and formatting errors (changing font size between chapters) and the styles aren't consistent throughout the books, its certainly more than good enough to not spend the time on creating epubs yourself.

I'm wondering, does anyone tell fel about typos (like cure instead of core) or minor mistakes somewhere? Does weavespinner use the first docs that were released or the (possibly corrected) ones available at the time of the last chapter release?

And i'm not asking to complain. Fels work has a remarkable low number of mistakes in it. I have read ebooks published on amazon with a lot more of them in it - and those i paid for! :-)
What does a signature tell us about a person that has a signature significantly longer than the text he posted in his last post?

That's one of the things I want feedback from. I've spellchecked, reformatted yadda, yadda, yadda. I've probably spent 20 hrs on the first two books that I've done. I was curious if anyone else wanted to see it. I didn't see the epubs at weavespinner.

Well, damn. While I like my versions a little better it certainly isn't worth all that effort. That's what I get for jumping in without looking.

So, slightly reinventing the wheel. But it sounds like your wheel has aircraft aluminum rims. So don't feel too bad, OK? Your heart is clearly in the right place.
