I've lost nearly a week to Minecraft PE on my phone. It's maddenly addictive.
Just another guy from the shallow end of the gene pool.

I think it would help if you let us know what types of PC games you like.dellstart wrote:My comp is out, so am stuck with my phone. So besided straining my eyes to read Fels stuff.Any good or interesting stuff, I should be aware of?
I am also interested in finding new phone games to play.
I have recently tried SpaceRPG, which is a space trading game. Not bad so far.
Another empire style builder I like is Pocket Trains. You ship cargoes around to earn cash and BUX to build more routes and train parts respectively. What I like about this one is the time required to play. You can get send a few trains in 30 seconds and then turn the game off. Its not like you have to play to a save point like others.
Demon Hunter 4 is a Diablo style clone.
Unfortunately I have also found there is a lot of junk games out there.

I've been playing Ingress - it's an alternate reality game, need to actually walk (ride, jog, drive, etc) around and capture territory for one of the two teams (team green or team blue).
There's a three main actions in the game:
- Hacking Portals (gives you equipment and keys to that portal)
- Attacking/Capturing Portals (lets you establish incoming links)
- Linking portals (lets you link from the portal you're near, to a remote portal - if it's friendly and there's no blocking links, Three portals linked together in a triangle form a field and capture that territory)
It's pretty damn impressive seeing some of the efforts - people have to actually carry keys they've captured (or been given by other players they've physically met) to portals that they want to link.
So, when you see say a reasonable portion of the Atlantic and most of Europe being captured: https://i.imgur.com/5Mfq2B3.png or a decent portion of the northern hemisphere: https://i.imgur.com/xuhOG5u.jpg -- more than a few people have had to travel a long way to make that happen.

I think FTL has a phone app. I dumped 150+ hours into that. It's a rougelike and there is a learning curve, but it's addicting and you can play for a few minutes here or there.
bored and lazy... it's more fun to talk on gaia...

I have downloaded it, but haven't messed with it yet. It looks like it combines gaming and geo-caching.Spec8472 wrote:I've been playing Ingress - it's an alternate reality game, need to actually walk (ride, jog, drive, etc) around and capture territory for one of the two teams (team green or team blue).

Only the "moving around in the real world" part of geocaching.Griffinmane wrote:I have downloaded it, but haven't messed with it yet.
