Support Fel - the author of the books here

Post by kaas »

Hi Fel,

I have continued to lurk here, but needed to come out the closet (figuratively speaking) in voicing my support and encouraging others to do the same. A few years ago we managed to scrounge up some money- I am sure we can again.

For all the good times Fel gave us, never demanding anything in return, I wish to pay back at least a little bit, hoping to help him out with his recent difficulties and misfortunes. Sorry it isn't that much, but I just bought a house and money is tight...

Let us all chip in via the paypal link in the locked paypal thread and support Fel!

Thank you Fel,

Kaas

I've asked a couple times for him to give me a link that might work. I seriously don't trust a 7 year old post linking to a paypal donation site. it was also edited by Spec8472. He is a Mod, but I'm fairly new to this site to trust anyone like that. I've asked James in twitter, but nothing. Fel...James...Please verify that that stuff does get to you in here as well as your twitter if possible. Hell...I'd send you a check if you have an address your willing to post. Maybe a P.O. Box. From the amount of entertainment I've gotten from his reading is worth well over a thousand to me...Too bad I'm not that rich. I'd love to kick in some for you though.

You can also set up a Amazon wish list for people to buy stuff you need from there if you want. Like cookies!

Well,

according to paypal, my payment went through and is awaiting Fel.

Did you receive the money? Does the link work?

Thanks,
Kaas

I seriously doubt that Fel would give up his faalken email account.

Still looking for an easy WYSIWYG html/web editor like Frontpage used to be.

The paypal site post is still good. And yes, faalken@hotmail.com is still my email, and it always will be if I have anything to say about it.

But, while you may want to donate, be it known to all of you that I don't ask for any donations, and I never expect anyone to donate.

I'm grateful if you do, especially right now that i'm looking at around $1000USD in costs between fixing the house and having the rest of the tree cut down (it's too damaged to stay up, I have to have it removed...pity. That tree is around 200 years old judging by its size), but I have never and will never solicit or ask for anything from anyone on this site.

So, if you want to donate, fine. If you don't, fine. Once I get back on track, chapters will still be posted no matter what you do.

And @kaas: yes, the donation showed up on paypal today, so don't worry. As always, I am humbled by the kindness and generosity of the people who read my work.
Just another guy from the shallow end of the gene pool.
