Want gmail invites? go to http://isnoop.net/gmail
nearly half a million of 'em sitting there waiting for you to pick em up...
I've given ~700 of them away so far... most since January this year.
I've even gotten to the stage where I have a draft email with the email addy to send the invites to, repeated 50 times so I can just paste it into the invite box when it shows up (fairly regularly).

Gmail is Google's Email Service.
What is Gmail?
Check out Getting Started too.Gmail is a free, search-based webmail service that combines the best features of traditional email with Google's search technology. Gmail makes locating messages so easy that youll never need to shuffle mail in your inbox again. Besides this entirely new way of reading and tracking messages, Gmail includes 1,024 megabytes of storage space -- an entire gigabyte, quite probably more than you'll ever need. Best of all, its free.

A wise old owl sat in an oak.
The more he heard the less he spoke.
The less he spoke, the more he heard.
Why can't all we be like the wise old bird?

Tis kinda why I've diverted all my mail to my gmail account, with copies kept on another mailserver
