EVE

Post by Weresmilodon »

As people seems to want to talk about what they do online, I thought I would bring this game up.

EVE. Immense world, much bigger then any other mmorpg Ive tried. Not just in the physical meaning either. You can do what you want, become a Miner, Bounty Hunter, fighter, Pirate, Scientist, Corporate owner... You can even build your own space-station, if you have the money and skills for it.

It's really no point in trying to explain it. Try it out, and see for yourself.

14 days trial here; http://www.gamershell.com/eve-online.php

EVE client here; http://www.eve-online.com/download/

Create a account with the CDKey you got from the first link here; https://secure.eve-online.com/

My ingame character is named Rakhin. Contact me if you have any questions, or want to know something. The second button from the top in the menu to the left is called People and Places. Just enter my name and search. You might want to add me to the Adressbook for further easy access too.

Does the entire game take place in your ship?

Yep, you never leave your ship. Some people don't like that, but really, where would you go? I don't see the point in being able to leave the ship. And given the choice of entering an station somewhere and do stuff, or zooming through space taking in the view, Id take space any day. Just use Ctrl+Tab and see for yourself.

I am trying it. It seems pretty good so far (1 or 2 hours of game).

Most likely Urban Legend, but still a fun read.
