so thoughts on the new Star Trek Movie (maybe spoilers)

Ok in the trailer the Enterprise is crashing into San Fran Bay..


My Thinking is Abrams wouldn't destroy the Enterprise this quickly (2nd movie) so with everything else in the trailer, the bad guy seems Egotistical and smarter than everyone else.. so what my thinking is that Kirk and Spock hacked whatever computer screen he's using to "view" the destruction of the enterprise and we're just seeing a fake "scene" that only the bad guy sees, then Kirk comes back totally surprises him and defeats him..


What are your thoughts?

I haven't seen the trailer yet, and like almost all movies, I'll see it when it shows up on HBO. I don't go to the theater unless it's something that looks so awesome that i'm willing to lose sleep to go see it.

And I love my sleep.
