Christmas time...

Post by Fel »

...and as usual, I'm off to Maine to spend it with my sister.  I'm leaving in 3 hours, and I expect we'll be about 16-18 hours on the road, given it looks like we'll be driving through snow much of the way.

I'll be there for two whole days, and then we drive back on Sunday, hehehe.

I'll put up a post from my sis's puter when I get to Maine, so you know I made it in one piece.

I'll see everyone later.

Have a merry Christmas all.

Merry Christmas Fel and all. It sounds like your doing much the same as what I did. I'm just back from an 11 hour drive after spending 3 days with family. I don't envy you in the least, I'm whacked after only 11 hours, in the sun (and a bit of hail :o). Enjoy your trip and drive saftely.

Hey Fel, who's "we"?  Who's goin' up there with you? Sounds like a lovely time.  Hope you have lots of books on tape.  That's the ONLY way I travel long distance anymore.

Me, the husband, the kid, and the brother in law are heading down to Newport News, VA to spend the weekend with their folks. Should be a nice time thought their house just isn't big enough for me to escape when I need to.

"Duck and dodge!"

Happy Holidays to you all!

If you're not the one driving, I'll add to the books on tape idea.  A gameboy, laptop, PDA, blanket and pillow.  If you're not driving, the more you watch the road the longer it seems to take.

And hey, if you bring a laptop, we might have another chapter before you get to Maine. LOL

Have fun, and Merry Christmas.
