Hm. On the subject of this, has anyone else been having problems downloading the older files that are linked on the board?

Fel released some edits of Tower of Sorcery chapters 4 through 8, and I tried to download them to add them to my collection. The link is dead. Does anyone else know of an alternate location for these files? Or if you have them and would be willing to email them to me, please respond by private message. Thanks.

Were they attachments, or linked? if linked, they won't have survived the migrations.

Looks like they were attachments.

I've rechecked, and it looks like a bunch of attachments aren't there. Look under chapter announcements -> sennadar.

Oh, worked out what it was. For some reason all files older than a certain point* were gzipped, but the forum software was looking for files without the .gz extension. I gunzip'ed them all, and now it appears to work.

* I'm assuming the certain point, June 2007, was a phpBB version upgrade, because after that point all the files are referenced in the database by semi random strings, instead of their actual file names, or close to it.
