Fabulous. Intricate. Your writing gets better, more mature, and more descriptive all the time. It's always a pleasure to read. Your Dwarven Dain character, Darax, becomes more complex every time you mention him, which I enjoy. Layers upon layers, revealed all in good time.

I'm interested to see what happens with the Elara. Your foreshadowing of them a few chapters ago was well done and has me curious.

Most importantly, I'm glad you are well again. How's school going?

I must echo everyone: Great chapter! I was wondering what kind of a demon they'd pull up to fight him.... Looking forward to that battle.

I think the funniest part was Phandlebrass casting Meteor. It got me thinking about common videogame spells and what they'd really do if game designers allowed them to affect the landscape.
