Interesting read. The characters are all likable and varied. However you might want to chose a way to better distinguish thoughts from speach, (Using '' instead of "" or using italics often work.) and I found it a little confusing the way you kept jumping from one Point of View to another.

And now, having said all that, all that's left to do isb ask about chapter 4...

Almost forgot. The insulting nickname that Matty uses for the Faey - "cassowaries" is because they are blue skinned birds.
