Spirit Walker - Consolidated and Formatted - 01-21

Hey...

I've been reading the Spirit Walker story, and really like it... I've been formatting the chapters so I can print them out and read them (my format is landscaped two column), and I usually wait until the entire book is complete before uploading my version, but I decided to go ahead and do it now...

There are 2 files in this zip, one is a Word2K2 document, and the other is an HTML file. This gives something for everyone to be able to read it... I'll still do the entire book when it's done, and I may put up a new consolidated file for each chapter, but we'll see...

I've put the W2k doc, the text document, a single HTML and multiple HTML in SOL formatting in the zip. Once the entire book is finished, I'll add a PDF, and maybe a lit file and PDB file...

so.. Here ya go!

Sounds quite similar to my PDF version of fel's work. My PDF's are now being released as consolidated books, complete with table of contents and pdf bookmarking.

I format the text using landscape mode, with two columns to simulate facing pages when read in full-screen mode on a pc or laptop.

I'm now using OpenOffice for Mac to generate my PDF files. NeoOffice, aside from being much slower, has been having problems with it's pdf export, in particular affecting character/line spacing negatively.

I have attached my odt template file and resulting PDF for Spirit Walker, Chapters 1 thru 21. The odt file is zipped, because the forum is configured to disallow direct odt uploads.

Fawks... in the zip file there are 3 different "formats"... 1 single html file (all inclusive), 1 word2k Document, and a multiple file format (1 file per chapter, a cover, an index, a frameset, and a css)... so I tried to cover everyone... and when the book is finished, I'll add pdf and txt and rtf... and maybe a few more...
