Re: Sennadar stories, animated!
Personally, I think that a movie could conceivably ruin the book... I know that I for one have in my mind how each character looks, their voices, etc. Someone else's idea of that would be much different, and would ruin the effect for me.

Makes me wish I were an eccentric billionaire so I could do it myselfkanifeli wrote:Hmm, I don't think are sufficient investors out there willing to plonk a billion $$ to make this movie in entirety and capture all the plots and scenes.

But see, that's the beauty of books. Even Fel has a different idea of what everything should be, you know? And since I haven't read his mind, I don't know what he thinks about when he thinks about when he thinks about his characters. I have an idea what they are, he has an idea--heck, everyone has their own idea about what it should be. And we're ALL right. That's the beauty of books.

You Do know they are making a DB Movie using Live Actors don't you ?kanifeli wrote:I would like it best if it were like a DB series where they took i think over 5 half an hour chapters for five minutes of fight scenes. i don´t want to loose the tiniest bit of what happened in the books because it would change the storyline too much.

Two lead actors have been cast for 20 Century Fox’s big-screen, live-action adaptation of the hugely popular Dragonball manga, animated series and video game franchise. Daily Variety reports that Justin Chatwin, star of the recent supernatural thriller The Invisible, will play hero Goku while James Marsters, better known as menacing blood sucker Spike from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, takes on the villainous role of Piccolo. Shooting is scheduled to begin on Aug. 15.

And in the fury of this darkest hour
I will be your light
A lifetime for this destiny
For I am Winter born
And in this moment..I will not run
It is my place to stand
We few shall carry hope
Within our bloodied hands
(bloodied hands)
And in our Dying, we're more alive-than we have ever been
I've lived for these few seconds
For I am Winter born
