Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
The End.
Finite.
Done.
Over.
It's so sad. The end of a long journey, one that some of us have been with for years now.
But as we close this book for the first time, we too see a new life ahead of us. One that brings new things to the realms of Sennadar, Pyrosia, and apparently Nirvana.

Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
I'll add that now that it's over, I'll answer those questions I've always dodged in the past. Nothing can be a spoiler now.

Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
ok, if you ARE going to answer these questions, why did they assasinate the sui'kun that caused the collapse of the weave? And, what's Tarrin doing in Niami's realm? or whas that his divine part?(or is it a glimpse in the far future when Tarrin dies?)
Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
I think it was his Divine part. I can see the GOG hand there too, Niami love for Tarrin could never be realized, but the Elder god Tarrin it could...Mistra wrote:ok, if you ARE going to answer these questions, why did they assasinate the sui'kun that caused the collapse of the weave? Now the question is, can gods have kids and what happens to those kids...
Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
The Breaking was Val's doing. He was trying to destroy the Weave, because it was the Sorcerers who trapped him and opposed him. Sharadar was responsible for all his defeats as a mortal, and it was the Sorcerers who "ruined" his divinity by imprisoning him in his icon and restricting his power. Destroying the Sorcerers was both a matter of revenge and a needful step to taking over the world.Mistra wrote:ok, if you ARE going to answer these questions, why did they assasinate the sui'kun that caused the collapse of the weave? After the Breaking, he realized that the Weave would never be destroyed so long as Spyder was alive, and not even Val could kill her. So, he decided to try something else.

Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
Ok Fel, 2 questions from a long time ago.
1. Who bit Kimmie?
2. Why is Laren the way he is?
Thx

Laren bit Kimmie.
And it's WHY he's the way he is.

Ah, but was it an accident?Fel wrote:Laren bit Kimmie.

Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
No, he did it on purpose. Just another "acting out" issue between him and his mother, though after he did it, he realized he would be killed if anyone found out.

Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
Actually, if Tarrin found out we've come to realize that there are things much worse than death.Fel wrote:No, he did it on purpose. Just another "acting out" issue between him and his mother, though after he did it, he realized he would be killed if anyone found out.
Triana or Mist would just pop his head off and be done with it.
Tarrin would probably find a way to grant him immortality even if he lost his head, and then seperate head and body and put them on opposite sides of the Abyss.

Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
in "Tower of Sorcery", who was it that kept waking Tarrin up to warn him of coming dangers?
Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
Um, that was Niami...Saetan wrote:in "Tower of Sorcery", who was it that kept waking Tarrin up to warn him of coming dangers?
Edit: I thought it was explained that it was her, when he "accepted" her she could speak to him directly but before that she could only whisper/warn now and then..
Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
Who created the giant black ward on the island protecting the firestaff?
Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
why are kimmies eyes blue? and i think the barrier was created by the elder gods cause not even niami could see what was happening inside the island.
Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
I think the barrier was created by the mi'shara charged with hiding the firestaff -- as there are only 2 powers strong enough to do that; entropy or an elder god. It could have been Mother Wynn -- who could alter reality.
