Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Someone's created a very similar world to Sennadar. I've no idea whether you will be amused or flattered.

The work thus far is somewhat lacking in terms of character development, but it's an okay read.

Eventually, the differences between Dolaria and Sennadar will become oh-so-obvious. But so far, yeah, it is basically the same... a young man finds out he has magical powers and gets taken in and helped by an older magician and a band of adventurers. But when you look at it, a lot of fantasy stories start that way. But I promise that the differences are quite vast.

For instance, there's no Firestaff in my world, and Sorcery is a LOT different. I haven't written anything about Sorcery in the new world in the book yet, but the overall system of magic is much different, and the most obvious difference is with Sorcery. Druidic magic is very similar, but a little simpler in Dolaria, but then again, a lot of the stories that I've read have a similar approach to Druidic magic, so I'm probably imitating all of them at once.

Ok, enough of that. I've finished with all my auditions and such so I should be able to post the new chapter within a few days. Also, since this is Fel's board, please take any further discussion to http://dolaria.plebian.net/forum/

I stopped reading that story in the middle of chapter 1. Too much politics. I read to relax, and I don't really feel like reading a political rant.

Yeah, it's not a political book at all. I promise. No politics after Chapter 1.

Oh, I feel a bit bad now due to the aforementioned politics, but those politics get ended pretty dramatically if one continues.

Once I hit chapter four, it became very interesting indeed.

True, I really have nothing better to do in my free time, I mean, what could be better than reading Fel's stories or being messed with by Spec? Thanks for the fun spec!
