I don't know if its spywareish or not but I've tried it and didn't like it at all. Call me 'old fashioned' or something but there is some satisfaction in leaving some things to discription/imagination. It saves frustration when looking at a 3D character which you can't customize enough. I found it restrictive in looks eg face/hair ect. Accessories seemed okay but anything bar starting clothes cost 'points' (ie money or something annoying to gain more). The characters also refuse to stick with one mood/expression for more than 5 secs which sucks. Needless to say it's no longer have this program on my computer.

Sorry for posting the link at first it seemed a good idea but after using the program for 6 hours across three days it had cost me 700mb's of bandwidth.
