question about chapter size's
Is there a quick way to split any/all of the chapters of either books, to 30kb text (.txt) files? Only reason is that my phone can understand it. Sony Ericsson d750i.

You'd have to do it by hand, sorry.Priapus wrote:Is there a quick way to split any/all of the chapters of either books, to 30kb text (.txt) files? Only reason is that my phone can understand it. Sony Ericsson d750i.

Re: question about chapter size's
You only need IE to install it - after that, it uses your default browser.Priapus wrote:sorry, dont like IE.besides its more fun to be able to check in 30-40 timesa day to see whats going on. lol!

Re: question about chapter size's
is it possible to write a macro in word when, when saves will increment the file name by 1? or by letter, ie sub01 would become sub01a, sub01b, sub01c.
what i was thinking was, macro the select text, make sure its about 30kb, paste into new word doc, save file as txt, then the file name bit would change... this would be done for all chapters so the macro would be needed to chabge to sub02a, sub02b, sub02c and however many parts would be needed to finnish the chapter. does this make sence?

Yes, you'd need to look at creating a custom macro in VBA.Priapus wrote:is it possible to write a macro in word when, when saves will increment the file name by 1? or by letter, ie sub01 would become sub01a, sub01b, sub01c.
