Earth as in one of four elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Not Earth as a plane(t).

Then it should be an earth elementalist.  Earth capitalized is the planet.  Earth not capitalized is the substance.  And I was just joking around.

BTW. we have Earth as a plane(t), earth as a substance (soil, dust), and earth as one of four elements. In Tarrins Chronicles it is usually written Sorcery, not sorcery, ans e.g. Earth elemental (if I remember correctly). Still, I do agree that Earth Elementalist has double meaning :-/
