I had to share this one. I did just a little bit more tweaking of the image with Grok and got this... it's the best image for Tarrin Kael I think I've ever seen. It's not perfect, but it's quite good.

I wish I had some wisdom or comfort to impart, but honestly anything I can think to say seems quaint and inadequate. I can only share in the sadness we all feel when we lose a loved one. I'm sorry for your loss.

Hmmm... me thinks that a larger plot is afoot than just unforeseen mind-jack side effects and DNA altering pandemics. I get the feeling that Zaa's words to Jason at the end of this chapter may be prophetic. Just my guess any way...
