Interdictor maths

I was listening to my audiobook* of the Subjugation series for the third time when the following passage from Unification Chapter 7 caught my attention:
they were aiming at only three layers [of interdiction], which would require 43 interdictors laid out in a specific pattern to create a total ...

Re: Super C's Drawings

I was recently switching material off an old HDD when I found my old offline Sennadar folder including Super C's superb sketches which were de-linked and then relinked during the forum migration.

Super C was wanting to redo them at some point, which I think would be awesome. Since Super C still ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

I was reading the "Seen any good TV \movies or played any games lately ? " thread when I realized it's been ages since I watched a good anime. A quick search led me to Sword Art Online (broadcast in 2012). I watched the whole thing over a couple of days, then discovered that it is based on the first ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

I was looking for fanfiction stories set in some of my favorite science fiction settings and came across the following author http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2107286/Tel-Writing whom I highly recommend.

His main stories are "Tides of Stars" and its sequel "We All Want to Change the World" which are set ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

There have been a couple of HP fics mentioned on this thread already, but I simply have to recommend this one:

Harry Potter and the Wastelands of Time by Joe6991

This story is freckin' awesome! Prepare yourself for extreme epic-ness on the scale of Fel ...

Re: A question of magics

Even if Alice and Bob use a continuous stream of entangled particles Alice can't force Bob's side to take on one of a pair of clearly defined states in some determined sequence.

Yep, that's exactly right! Alice can force Bob's particle into the same state as her own particle, but she can't pre ...

Re: A question of magics

Back when I did my BSc (Hons) in physics in 2003 we had a quantum physics/relativity lecture where we explored 4 different possibilities for beating the speed of light limit. On close inspection none of them was actually capable of beating the speed of light. If I recall correctly the third of the ...

Re: Super c's drawings?

I have copies of the Tarrin, Mist & Studies pictures (large version) that Super C posted back in 2005. If there is any difficult finding them let me know and I'll email them to Super C or Spec

Re: Fel, why not?

Ha! I just looked up the Real Life Comics webcomic, and what do I find:

22nd August 2008

Greg: Crap, and that reminds me that I haven't got any progress on the book today, either. Ack!

ROFL!

Maybe Greg is Fel in disguise...

Re: Spirit Walker, chapter 18.

That quote puts me in mind of Jason in Subjugation too.

Not sure why - maybe it's because Tarrin very rarely got into big fights while in rooms with floors & ceilings. And when he did, the ceilings and walls had a tendency to get blown apart

Re: Spirit Walker - Spoilers - Chapter 15

Hmm, so Kyvren is "just as Arcan as any other Arcan". I've been chewing on that, and had the following reaction:

Looks like the Shadow Fox not only took away his humanity, she also took away about 30yrs of his lifespan  (remember the disparity between Human and Arcan lifespans?). That should ...

Wow, 12 chapters in less than a month?

Take your time, Fel - if you burn out then we'll have nothing left to read!
