Re: Orders of magic
Hours after reading that first response, I got to the point where Witchcraft is described as Necromancy. I'm still trying to figure out whether the Elementalists are considered Sorcerers or something else without a weave to access the elemental planes for their magic . There seem to be at least some ...

Orders of magic
After reading the Firestaff series, and now passing from Axe of the Dwarven King into Sword of fire, I have a question based on a term mentioned a few times.
We all know that there's 4 orders of magic; Sorcery, Druidic, Arcane and Priest. Where would Witchcraft fall among these, Arcane? Is it just a ...

Re: Modern day Wikuna? Check it out!
I let QT update when it tells me there's updates, except that I don't get the ones with itunes, I don't want or need itunes.
I tried outside the browser and it played in QT, though a little jerky on the video portion. Something must be wrong with the QT plugin for Firefox.

Re: Pyrosian full book files
Oh, I know about waiting for chapters, some of the stories I''ve been reading at Planetfurry this last couple years have been inactive for chapter updates for over a year, while at least one author has (until just the last few weeks) been updating weekly.

Re: Pyrosian full book files
I'm hoping that books 2 & 3 will be uploaded soon as single files, more convenient than DLing 18 and 14 individual chapter files to read them.

Pyrosian full book files
I just finished the Firestaff series somewhere between 3 and 4 weeks. Now looking at Pyrosian. I see book 1 (just barely started reading it) has a full book file to download but I don't see book 2 or 3 in full book form yet. How long can I expect to wait for this form? Are both stories complete yet ...

Re: Sennadar stories, animated!
It would have to be a series. One movie just couldn't fit everything without losing a lot of the story.
A single book would barely fit in a movie without missing some details, let alone any series of books. Just look at Harry Potter for an example of that. Even Lord of the Rings probably missed ...

Maps and other pictures of Sennadar
I've done a search of the forum and have only seen a couple posts asking if there's any maps of Sennadar, and none of those threads seem to have any answer to that question. When reading epic adventures like these, it can be very helpful if we can pause our reading and refer to a map to see where ...

Re: tarrin's attack in the inn
I see (in book 3) in the 2 years since the attack that they apparently didn't rebuild the inn. Was business that slow in that area? Was it rebuilt and then burned down again by the invading army? Was it built in another part of the village instead?

Re: Types of Wikuni
Until the book 1 epilogue, I thought Keritanima's father would be a fox like she is, not a lion. Does this mean that Wikuni can have children (and siblings) of any Wikuni type?

Re: tarrin's attack in the inn
I just finished book 1 and am now a couple chapters into 2. I've been wondering why Tarrin never mentioned seeing the creature in the fire. Did he think he only imagined it? Did he think it was unimportant? Did he just forget with all the other things going on to and around him?
