I let QT update when it tells me there's updates, except that I don't get the ones with itunes, I don't want or need itunes.

Oh, I know about waiting for chapters, some of the stories I''ve been reading at Planetfurry this last couple years have been inactive for chapter updates for over a year, while at least one author has (until just the last few weeks) been updating weekly.

I'm hoping that books 2 & 3 will be uploaded soon as single files, more convenient than DLing 18 and 14 individual chapter files to read them.

I just finished the Firestaff series somewhere between 3 and 4 weeks. Now looking at Pyrosian. I see book 1 (just barely started reading it) has a full book file to download but I don't see book 2 or 3 in full book form yet. How long can I expect to wait for this form? It would have to be a series. One movie just couldn't fit everything without losing a lot of the story.
A single book would barely fit in a movie without missing some details, let alone any series of books. Just look at Harry Potter for an example of that. Even Lord of the Rings probably missed ...

I see (in book 3) in the 2 years since the attack that they apparently didn't rebuild the inn. Was business that slow in that area? Was it rebuilt and then burned down again by the invading army? Was it built in another part of the village instead?
