Re: SPIRIT WALKER - CHAPTER 16 SPOILERS
I'm suprised Kyven didn't persue how the Ancients used magic. The whole conflict is about how crystals, which are the basis for alchemical power, are running out. But the Ancients didn't need crystals! If the Arcans could discover that process, there's a chance it could prevent the entire war. Of ...

Re: Spirit Walker, chapter 7.
Fel,
You just made my day.
I broke my car (ran into a curb and got two flats), broke my stunt kite. But it's OK, because I've got a new chapter to read.
Thanks!

And speaking as a fellow NFC East fan, I was glad to see the NFC come out on top for once. Since my team wasn't even in the playoffs, I didn't hold a grudge against the Giants. Watched the game with a Cowboys fan though, and he wanted the Pats to win for just that reason.

Re: Chapter 14 Discussion/Spoilers
Now that Fel's done with the book, I don't feel so bad asking:
waaay back in the day on the previous incarnation of this message board, Fel, you posted a short story (what it was about is escaping me at the moment). But at the end of it you had Ayise say something about the god of forgiveness being ...

if they encrypt the telemetry, then why not just aim for encrypted telemetry?
It's pretty much the same idea I had when they decided to use (basicly) a white noise generator for the ground units -- simply aim for the source of the white noise. Surely it can get some sort of directional bearing ...

I think I'm in the minority here, but I would argue against using Sennadar. Its not that I disagree with any of the above points: it would be cool to have cameos, it would be cool to still have some of the old characters/plotlines, it would be neat to carryover some of our love of the Sennadar ...

Wow. It's amazing how much research there is behind all the writing you do.
Was just thinking: the wiki is a compilation of all this information gleaned from the books, right? But I'd bet that most of that comes from THE BINDER. Any chance of posting the binder in its entirety? cause that would cut ...

I couldnt figure out how to get a six pointed star without making it look like a star of david. That! thats how!

huh. thats really too bad that the animated GIF is turning out 1MB+
the original avi was 80KB, over 10x smaller! So I guess using an animated GIF as an avatar is kinda out of the question.
the .avi format's gotta have some great compression algorithms for if one frame is very close to the next ...

Solidworks only allows me to output into .avi
If anyone knows how to convert .avi into .gif I would be really grateful.
