Hi,
Great story, I've been lurking, just read about your comp problems, some obvious thing to check, make sure the lockups are true lockups and not screen saver like viruses. I got one of those and it would look like I BSOD and it automatically rebooted after some delays.

Re: Sennadar.com
From the looks of it, 1&1 require you to keep your web hosting with them... (not certain, but just guessing based on some of the information given on their site)
If this is so, then it's not particularly useful (the hosting is all done on my dreamhost account).
Nope, just switch the NS records ...

Re: Sennadar.com
Wouldn't it be more cost effective to get a $6 a year domain registrar? 1and1.com
That's where I keep my forbidder.org domain.
It's not like hosting where there are options and features and stuff where paying more can give you something that is useful.

no no, you mean if you happen to exclaim your ideas loudly in the forum and i happen to read and ignore it, then submit a similar sounding idea all based on my own ideas, then I accidentally misdeposit X% of the research grant because I put in the wrong account number.

Re: Subjugation in the rest of the world
[censored]. I'm sick of this [censored] stupid preconception that somehow knowledge gets in the way of new ideas. First, knowing what is sure no-go prevents wasting time on things like perpetuum mobile. Second, so called common sense (as it is based on what we perceive with our own eyes) is usually ...

Re: Subjugation in the rest of the world
I really don't see the part about the operator noting anything, for all we know she might have be googling up the registry number on the aformentioned ship.
The operator knows, and whoever reviews the communication logs will know, but buracracy by the aliens is pretty much like buracracy by the ...

Re: Subjugation in the rest of the world
He can live in his ship, landed on the moon. The moon's gravity will hide him. Perhaps he can sorta run really fast to the moon and the faint gravity field of the earth and moon will overlap enough over his whole trip to not get detected?
No, the moon is too far away from his target to make a good ...

Lol, Tarrin and Co, and Jason and Co can do a episoide where they are really themselves stuck in a interdimensional rift where they happen upon a world where they have to become the actors who play their characters...
Or they can to a mind/body swap where the Sennadar chars get swapped with the ...

Re: chapter 10 of Subjugation done
I love tech fics. And Subjugation definately has lots of tech. And plus it's easy for me to identify with the hero, and the way it flows, I sorta live the story. Good stories are better than a movie in a theater for me because of this mode of reading I do. And plus you left it at a point where ...

oh my cow!
that was amazing! But now you got me clamoring for the next one... subjugation always does this for me, after reading one, I just want more. It's more addictive than potato chips or crisps..
(stunned speechless reliving the chapter)

Re: questions about were-kin infection
The guy who tried and messed up did survive, and since he was immune to being were, he must have improved and perfected the shape shifting druid spell before he died and taught it to someone.
And I'm surprised there aren't any were-fishes.. why is it only were-mammals? I guess that would totally ...
