Awesome chapter. It's so good to have a reason to stalk the boards again.
About the whole vanishing act... I've been reading up on some agent blogs, and a lot of them say "publishing" online does not count as publishing. It's stuff like Lulu, iUniverse, and all those other self-publishing places ...

Help finding chapters for errors
I have a list of errors I compiled from the last time I reread the books, but I didn't always mark chapters. As I don't have time to go back through the books at the moment, I was hoping some of you could help get that information so we can put it on the wiki.

Re: Demon's Bane, chapter 10 (SPOILERS)
Sage4Eros, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking when I was reading this. I can't wait to see what dirty tricks everybody's going to play on each other.

Re: Nebula awards - Fel can get his books published at Baen
I reread the books over the summer and compiled my own error list; doubtless most of them have already been found, but I should check the wiki to see if any are missing.

Re: Demon's Bane, chapter 8.
*dies laughing* Well said, Fel. And the planning chapters are fun because I can think of so many examples of things going away from the plans in earlier books.
Great chapter, even though it does feel more and more like the book is wrapping up. I will miss Tarrin's continuing adventures a lot.

Re: Update
I like paper books too; never really got into e-books or the like because I like having stories on a shelf so I can pull them down, head over to an armchair, and start reading. Even most of the stuff I read online ends up printed so I can take it into class and pretend to be taking notes. *grins*

Re: Demon's Bane, Chapter 7 (Spoilers!)
Triana's past... Dolanna's past.... Eron's Ranger days.... and all the rest you mentioned. Wow, a book about ANY of those would be really cool. Or the one set in the future with cameos from our favorites. I hope eventually something else will come of this universe, because I'll be eternally ...

Re: Nebula awards - Fel can get his books published at Baen
Quite a few, if you bother following any Harry Potter sites. I think it's more likely with longer stories and series work, because there are SO many details to keep track of. At least with the people here as picky as they are, Fel has a good chance of getting all or nearly all of them corrected ...

Re: How did eveyone find out about the Firestaff series?
Hm, that was so long ago it's hard to remember, but I was on Elfwood, and someone had posted a link to Fel's stuff in the comments section of one of my favorite authors. Since I was finished with that story, I wanted something new and was hooked almost instantly.

Re: Dates for books in Firestaff Series and Pyrosian Chronicles
Heh.... Two done so far, though not related to each other, three more updating on a rotating schedule... but I'd rather not provide links until I get a chance to edit. The first one in particular has several glaring errors I'd like to eliminate, as well as scenes that I just don't like. The second ...

Re: Dates for books in Firestaff Series and Pyrosian Chronicles
Just curious, Fel... did you have any negative reaction to some of those changes by people who read the original? I know when I revised my first novel, I upset quite a few of my friends, who had liked bits that just didn't work in the long run.

Re: Average word count length of each book?
Honestly, though, how much would it matter? So it's off by a few hundred, or even a few thousand words. The numbers should still be in the right ballpark. I would be curious to know just how many pages each book would work out to be. I know typically the manuscripts you submit to publishers are ...

Re: Average word count length of each book?
Even more amazing when you consider the typical novel is considered 60-100,000 words. We're looking at some pretty massive hardcovers.

I made the mistake of actually reading the Bleach manga after Ichigo started training for bankai.... now I'm all caught up and still stuck at a really bad cliffhanger.

I'm still around book... nine, I think. Haven't read New Spring either. I'll probably catch up once and for all when the last book is out.
