Re: So, update time.
Regarding the document file format, don't worry, any modern word version can save as .doc.
Seeing the format options you seem to use in your writing you should be fine using any word type editor, from proper Word to LibreOffice and the likes to even Google Docs (the last one does not support .doc ...

Re: So it's' been almost 36 hours
From an European perspective not having an obligatory National ID system seems weird to me
Well, actually some things differ across Europe, my friend. From a Danish perspective, things look a little different - and last I looked, Denmark was part of Europe
In Denmark, we don't have a ...

Re: So it's' been almost 36 hours
From an European perspective not having an obligatory National ID system seems weird to me, it is soo essential to every aspect of our lives it boggles the mind that fraud is not so much worse without it... And it is... Ours is a photo ID, so even if you tell someone your ID number the harm that can ...

Re: A long lament.
Let me share a point of view from someone from Europe about the current and recent USA.

Re: Revolution Chapter 8 (Spoliers)
Well, since the cat already scaped from the bag and now being a generation could be the norm most of the motives that endangered the Generations are gone as they will not be hunted to get the secret.

Re: Retribution, Chapter 13 [Spoilers]
Today's nerd science tidbit on why that works:
The boiling point of water is dependent on air pressure. Water boils at 100C only at sea level.
Well, in this case the vacuum bit is not really relevant as the plastic bags can't really hold a vacuum, they just stick really close to the food ...

Re: Retribution, Chapter 13 [Spoilers]
Because exposure to 80C can kill flesh, and that's below boiling.
Hell, remember that pic I posted a couple of years ago of the massive blistering on my hand from a spilled bowl of soup? That soup wasn't boiling. It was about 90C, very close to it. If it had been past boiling, the burn would have ...

Re: Retribution, Chapter 13 [Spoilers]
I wonder how prophetic Jason was when he mentioned the other unimaginable powerful races to the benga to scare them and how he might have to comfront them in the future himself. AFIK we have not had any mention of them in the books, only some references of the future arcs from Fel.

Re: Retribution, Chapter 13 [Spoilers]
I apreciate the mention on heat management of the gestalt and the solution he used to prevent more damage. I had not thought to use the same psy powers to cool the gestalt, then again Ciby also didn't.

Re: Retrubution Chapter 11 [Spoilers]
@valinor89
First of all, Jason's arms don't need a power cell at all. They will run on broadcast power.
Second, I believe you are vastly overestimating cybi's size and weight. I expect that biogenic crystals arent very dense and therefore would weigh considerably less then a house even if they ...

Re: Retrubution Chapter 11 [Spoilers]
The only problem I see with using a biogenic amplifier in his arms is that it has been established (at least to my knowledge) that they consume a non negligible ammount of power (when Jason used commune with Ciby to defend Karis I believe that the limit was the power systems overheating). I ...
